Climate Focus is launching the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) Dashboard - a newly developed initiative aiming to provide corporates, investors and project developers with consolidated data on relevant carbon market metrics, as reported by the leading carbon standards. Updated on a monthly basis, this tool keeps track of key market development indicators for leading voluntary carbon standards, including Verra’s VCS, the Gold Standard’s SustainCert, the American Carbon Registry, and the Climate Action Reserve.

In the near future, voluntary carbon markets will play an important role in accelerating the transition to a climate neutral global economy. With this, transparency around key market indicators – such as periodic offset issuance data, trends in new project type registrations, and new regional developments – is imperative.
