Sarah Bouchon
Sarah is a legal analyst at Climate Focus. Based at our Amsterdam office, Sarah focuses on applying her legal expertise in the areas of policy and governance, to facilitate and assist with the acceleration toward a sustainable world.
Prior to joining Climate Focus, Sarah practiced as a French-qualified attorney in a large US law firm in Paris. Her work centered on advising large international corporations, investment firms and public entities on both EU and French competition and antitrust laws. During her time as an attorney, Sarah actively participated in several pro bono efforts to provide legal advice to institutions promoting SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). She has also held positions with another international law firm in Brussels and the French Competition Authority, where she was a trainee.
Sarah holds a B.A. in Social Sciences and a Master’s degree in Economic law and Global Governance Studies from Sciences Po (Paris, France). In addition, she holds an LL.M. in European Legal Studies from the College of Europe (Bruges, Belgium).
Skilled in languages, Sarah speaks French, English and Spanish. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys cooking, skiing, yoga and traveling.
