Sanggeet Mithra Manirajah

Sanggeet is a consultant at Climate Focus. Her work focuses on research and advisory on land use and forestry topics, including sustainable commodity chains, food systems and REDD+.

Prior to joining Climate Focus, Sanggeet worked in the fields of social innovation and education. She co-founded Architects of Diversity, a non-profit initiative that aims to bridge communities and identity groups among youth in Malaysia. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy (MPP) from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin and a BA degree in Politics and International Relations from Scripps College in Claremont, California.

Sanggeet has lived and worked in Malaysia, Spain, Turkey and Germany. She speaks Bahasa Malaysia, Tamil, Spanish and is currently learning German. In her free time, Sanggeet enjoys practicing yoga, trying new recipes and reading.
